Elizabeth Green, better known as “Libby’’ in her 50’s has had a lifetime in the horse industry. Rising trot and cantering by herself on a horse at the age of three and a half years old, she has competed regularly all her life.
The kids and I have been riding out at Kurrajong Park Equestrian Centre over the last 3 ½ years. Little Lacy starting in the pony club groups at just 18 months of age, and rising trot and steering at 2 years of age.
My daughter Sam started riding in July, 2011 With Libby at Kurrajong Park. Sam had very little speech and low muscle tone caused by being premature, so we were told that horse riding lessons would help her by her therapist.
Michelle started riding in August 2013. She enjoyed riding with one or two other girls and had lots of fun playing games, and learning from each other.
When Steven was two years old he suffered a stroke that left him paralysed down the right side of his body.
Collette had her first horse riding lesson with Libby in 2013, and has learnt so much from Libby and her horses.
Thomas arrived at Kurrajong Park at the age of 7 years. He was very nervous, shy, and lacking in confidence. Three years later he is laughing, cheering and has to win the games.
Kurrajong Park Equestrian Centre has been a second home for Lacy. At 18 month she started in the pony club groups, and has always tried to keep up with the older kids and copy them.
